Carolyn
Carolyn was born in Sydney, Australia, and spent her early years growing up in Toronto, Canada. However, for the past 18 years she has called North Carolina home and for the past 10 years dentistry has been her passion. Carolyn began as a dental assistant and is now a dental hygienist. She received her Associate of Science Degree and RDH at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh.
Carolyn is married to a Park Ranger at Falls Lake and they share 3 beautiful girls. In Carolyn's free time you will find her fishing either at Falls lake or Morehead City.
Judy
Judy is a Pennsylvania native who has resided in North Carolina since 1989. She began her career as a dental assistant while serving in the Navy. Judy has enjoyed both her career in the Navy as well as her civilian career. In her spare time, she loves the comforts of home, cooking and being creative.
Kim
Kim, a native of Asheville, NC, has been with the practice since June 1999, and she truly appreciates meeting new patients and helping them maintain their smiles. After her graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, Kim completed her degree in Dental Hygiene at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
Kim enjoys spending her time with her husband, daughter and two dogs. Her hobbies include traveling, photography and reading.
Monica
Now the office business/insurance coordinator, Monica has been in the dental field since 1993 and a member of our team since 2000. Her prior experience started as a dental claims processor and dental customer service representative for Prudential Insurance. Before working in private dental practice she was employed by Jefferson Pilot Insurance Company as a dental contracts examiner. Sparking an interest in dental assisting, she received her dental radiology certification in 1998. This range of experience provides our patients a knowledgeable person when it comes to handling and understanding your dental insurance benefits.
Monica enjoys spending her free time relaxing with a good book or with her husband and three sons.
Nancy
A 1972 dental hygiene graduate (Wayne Community's second class), Nancy still enjoys her chosen career. She has watched hygiene evolve from the basic 30 minute cleaning to a very high tech, educational, computerized, OSHA regulated affair. She has been with our office for over 15 years.
After nearly 38 clinical years, Nancy has accumulated an incredible amount of dental talent. She has enjoyed learning from those who graduated after her and has appreciated the way the younger classes have respected her and value her experience. Nancy is good at what she does, and that is helping people. She really makes a difference.
She has been blessed with a husband of 35 years with whom they have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
Tara
Tara is our front desk and scheduling coordinator. She began working in the dental field in 1995 after attending college at ECU and then NCSU. Tara has been a member of our team since 2004. She is married with three children and enjoys spending her free time with family. Tara will gladly work with you and your schedule.
