Kim – Dental Hygienist
Meet Kim, our skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist. Since joining our practice in June 1999, Kim has been an integral part of our team. With a BA in History from UNC Chapel Hill and an associate degree from AB Tech, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Kim is passionate about providing quality care and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry. With almost 25 years of experience, she has developed strong relationships with our patients and truly values the opportunity to make a difference in their oral health.
Monica – Office Manager
Monica has been a part of our practice since 2000, and she helps our patients get the most out of their dental insurance, find answers to their questions, and receive the customer service they deserve. Monica has worked in the dental field for many years, and our practice benefits from her experience. When she is not at the office, Monica spends time with her husband, her three grown sons, and her twin grandsons, Gabriel and Jeremiah. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
Tara – Front Desk/Schedule Coordinator
Meet Tara, our talented Scheduling Coordinator at Midtown Dental. With over 15 years of experience since joining our team in 2005, Tara ensures that your visit to our practice is seamless and stress-free. Having studied at both East Carolina University and North Carolina State University, Tara’s education enriches her role in ensuring patient satisfaction.
What does Tara love most about being a part of Midtown Dental? The warm family atmosphere and our diverse patient base, which spans across generations. She takes pride in creating smiles that not only look beautiful but also boost our patients’ self-confidence.

Kim – Dental Hygienist
Kim joined Midtown Dental in January 2015, but had been working for her former dental office with Dr. Maness since 1989. She loves being part of a practice that treats patients like family, and she loves working with patients to create a positive dental experience. In her free time, Kim enjoys reading and traveling, and she enjoys a variety of music genres.
Jean – Dental Assistant II
Meet Jean, our talented Dental Assistant II, who joined our practice in January 2015. With a strong educational background, Jean is highly skilled in providing exceptional patient care. As a valued team player, Jean contributes to the success of our practice by ensuring seamless operations and delivering top-notch dental services. Apart from her dedication to dentistry, Jean takes pride in being part of a loving Christian workplace. Outside of work, Jean enjoys spending time with her husband, Martin, and their three grown children, who all live in the area.
Mandy – Dental Hygienist
Mandy, a Registered Dental Hygienist, joined our practice in August 2019. She obtained her hygiene degree at Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC, where she received the highest GPA in the class of 2019. What Mandy loves best about being a part of Midtown Dental is the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ health and stay up-to-date with the latest research. From her first day, Mandy felt welcomed by her fellow dental professionals, who care for their patients like family. As a mother of four, she appreciates that her own family can receive quality care here. Mandy’s expertise lies in making patients feel comfortable while ensuring their overall health improves. Outside of work, she enjoys nutrition and exercise, and is a certified personal trainer at a hot yoga studio in Raleigh.
Erin – Dental Assistant
Erin is an experienced Dental Assistant who joined our practice in February 2023. With a solid foundation from the Wake Tech Dental Assisting Program, Erin contributes to the success of the practice by utilizing their background in orthodontics and their passion for making people smile. Erin particularly enjoys getting to know our patients on a personal level. Erin also has a love for camping and board games.
Kelly – Dental Hygienist
Kelly is a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist who joined our practice in January 2021. She received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina in 2013. Kelly is highly dedicated to cultivating relationships with her patients and is known for her exceptional skills in educating individuals on oral health. Alongside our close-knit team, Kelly plays a vital role in the success of our practice. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her husband and two daughters, engaging in water sports, snowboarding, and indulging in travel adventures.
